HR Records Assistant The HR Records Assistant provides administrative and records support to the Human Resources department by maintaining accurate employee personnel and benefits records, processing employment-related documentation, and entering information into HR and payroll systems. Responsibilities include assisting with new hire onboarding and orientation, employment and wage verifications, background checks, benefits and open enrollment administration, personnel file audits, and preparation of employee status-change correspondence. The position also performs high-volume filing, records retention and destruction, reporting, mailings, and general HR administrative support. Provides backup coverage for reception and records functions and assists with special projects, audits, and regulatory reviews as needed.
