Lift Truck Operator
Schedule: 10:00am-7:00pm Wed/Sun Off Pay: $17.26 - $20.92GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES: Under general supervision, the Lift Truck Operator is responsible for operating a lift truck up to 45 feet in the air to receive, store, and distribute merchandise. The Lift Truck Operator will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work environment while constantly maintaining the highest level of customer service. EXAMPLES OF WORK PERFORMED:Pull orders. Pack and repack merchandise. Load merchandise for customers. Unload trucks. Stock merchandise using a lift truck or tugger. Follow lift truck safety procedures. Maintain excellent customer service. Respond to instructions from the Control Booth regarding proper merchandise to pull. Keep the warehouse area clean. Assist other warehouse departments as needed. Transfer materials as needed. Maintain assigned aisles as directed by management. Put merchandise away properly and safely. Weigh less than 300 lbs. in accordance with manufacturer requirements. Communicate effectively with team members. Maintain a positive attitude when working with customers. Follow employment policies and safety procedures.
PHYSICAL ACTIVITY REQUIREMENTS: To successfully perform the essential functions of the job, an employee must be able to perform the following: Stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, climbing, crawling, walking, pulling, lifting, talking, hearing/listening and repetitive motion. Heavy Work: Lifting up to 50 lbs occasionally, up to 35 lbs frequently, and up to 10 lbs constantly to move objects.
