About the role
- Operate Hydrovac Truck to perform safe and nondisruptive excavation
- Strong Understanding of excavation techniques and safe best practices in all environments
- Excellent problem solving skills with attention to detail.
- Strong Communication Skills to coordinate the project with team.
- Ensure the truck remains in proper and safe working order.
- Maintain daily e-logs, safety & inspection reports, expense reports, and project reports while ensuring they are properly completed.
- Must be willing to perform manual labor-related tasks to support projects.
- Ensure the company's health and safety culture, policies, and requirements are met.
- Comply with all Federal, State, and local laws regulating safe driving and the safe and proper handling of hazardous materials.
- Ability to perform work based on task conditions and hazards in a safe and efficient manner.
- Maintain appropriate driver's license with Tanker endorsements.
- Perform pre and post trip inspections
- CDL A with no restrictions
- Hydovac Operator Experience
- Tanker endorsement required.
- MUST pass pre-employment requirements: DOT physical including drug & alcohol screening, and background check.
- Clean driving record.
- Willingness and ability to lift 50-75 lbs. on a regular basis
- Ability to climb ladders, stairs, work in confined spaces.
- Ability to work in all temperatures and all types of weather.
- Knowledge of Department of Transportation (DOT) rules, regulations, and guidelines.
- Availability and willingness to work some weekends and after-regular hours Emergency Response Calls (rotation).Disciplined, dependable, and with good stress management skills.
