About the role

In anticipation of a contract award, weare looking for candidates with experience supporting Federal Government contracting offices, either as former 1102 civilian/military, or as contractor support. This position will support the contracting officers, contract specialists, and program offices onsite in Washington, DC on the complete range of procurement-related tasks for both pre and post-award activities. They will develop the necessary file documentation utilizing applicable Federal regulations and local policy. Hiring Timeframe: Upcoming
Work Location: This position will be onsite in Washington, DC. Seventh Sense will support your commute by contributing over $1,500 annually to your Transportation FSA.Responsibilities: Provide mid-level expertise and knowledge concerning acquisitions in various stages of the procurement process (i.e. acquisition planning, market research/analysis, preparation of solicitations/Request for Proposals (RFP) and Request for Quotes (RFQ), review of information provided for evaluation, review Statement of Work (SOW), Statement of Objectives (SOO) and Performance Work Statements (PWS) developed) Prepares or reviews pre-procurement packages as well as maintains work items and provides effectively the status of all contractual actions. Utilize knowledge to select and contribute to assistance of the administration of various contract mechanisms such as IDIQs, BPAs, contracts, task, delivery and call orders, and purchase orders etc. Able to utilize different contract types such as Firm-Fixed Price (FFP), Cost Reimbursable, LH, T&M etc. for actions. Understand cost/price analysis and ability to assist with it, preparation of contract modifications, contract termination/default actions, and contract closeout (if needed) With little to some guidance, personnel must be able to successfully assist with carrying out pre-determined and recurring contract administration duties Handles complex problems through resolution, assist with validation of data, completes tasks needed to successfully assist with advertising, soliciting, constructing, awarding, and administering contractual actions
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree and 24 semester hours in the areas of business/finance 5+ years of Federal government 1102-type experience
  • Be able to gain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
  • Familiar with researching in and applying standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the Federal Acquisition Regulation
Skills:
  • Comfortable working with files on a SharePoint Site
  • Proficient and confidence working with Word, Excel, and/or PowerPoint for document preparation and briefings
  • Proficient with Google Workspace Products such as Calendar, Sheets, Chat, G-mail, Docs, Slides, Drive, Meets etc. and possess strong internet research skills.
  • Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contracts, Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPAs), and orders (task, delivery, call and purchase)
  • Experience in performing cost and/or price analysis is a plus
  • Actual experience working within a virtual team using video communications similar to MS TeamsFAC-C Level II, DAWIA Level II in Contracting or the equivalent is highly desired
