WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING: Providing safe and timely transport of Residents to appointments and other daily outings. Safely assisting residents in to and out of vehicles, including maneuvering wheelchairs, holding umbrellas in inclement weather and baggage handling. Conducting periodic checks of bus operation including fuel, oil, wipers, fluids, lights, etc. Maintaining cleanliness of vehicles and logs/records pertaining to vehicle service.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR: A genuine interest in and compassion for older adults. A valid driver's license - CDL endorsement (with (P) passenger endorsement) required – and a clean driving record. Ability to read and follow maps (electronic and paper-based).Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to communicate with residents and staff.
