Salary range: The salary range for this position is $250,000 to $300,000 with the opportunity for higher earnings contingent on performance-based incentives Review timeline:initial review October 30, 2026 Position description The Department of Neurology at the University of California, Los Angeles is recruiting for a new faculty position at the Assistant or Associate Professor level (HS Clinical series) for expansion of our clinical care in clinical neurophysiology. Requirements & Job Summary: The successful applicant must have obtained a MD, or MD/PhD or equivalent degree(s) and completed a neurology residency. Completion of a clinical neurophysiology subspecialty fellowship program is preferred. The applicant will participate in the clinical, teaching, and research activities of the UCLA Neurology Department. The UCLA Neurology Department is a high-volume center and the successful applicant will work closely with neurologists of many subspecialties in an exciting academic practice. The goal of this recruitment is to expand clinical care for patients and families as well as broaden the training for medical students, residents and fellows. The applicant will also participate in community outreach and CME activities for related health care providers. The Department encourages candidates to apply who have experience in and who have demonstrated commitment to working with students from diverse backgrounds and to improving access to higher education for disadvantaged students through teaching and mentoring activities. The posted UC salary scales set the minimum pay determined by rank and step at appointment. Qualifications
Basic qualifications: The successful applicant must have obtained a MD, or MD/PhD or equivalent degree(s) and completed a neurology residency.
