About the role
Executive Director, Elanco Business Solutions (EBS)As the Executive Director of Elanco Business Solutions (EBS), you will be accountable for creating and executing the overall strategy for our four global EBS centers. This role is key to delivering on Elanco's strategic vision by ensuring the successful functioning of operations, guiding the transition of new activities into the centers, and managing service delivery consistent with our global process design. You will work seamlessly with fellow leaders across Elanco's EBSs, Finance Center of Excellence (FCOE), and with CFOs and other stakeholders around the world to implement a common, impactful global approach.Your Responsibilities:Develop and execute the global vision, strategy, and operational framework for Elanco's Business Solutions (EBS) centers including the strategy to identify, influence and deliver additional roles moving to the EBS.Guide and cultivate a culture of high engagement and performance across a large (up to 1,400 employees), globally-distributed organization by being an approachable and supportive leader.Serve as the single point of accountability for service delivery, continuous improvement, and relationship management with key global business partners.Oversee the transition of new services into the EBS, ensuring effective organizational design, hiring, and training which improve cost efficiency across Elanco to deliver on financial targets/commitments.Ensure robust compliance across all EBS processes and deliver on financial targets and business plan commitments. Includes direct accountability for EBS administration, Record-to-Report, Purchase-to-Pay and Order-to-Cash teams and activity in the EBS totaling approximately 475 employees.What You Need to Succeed (minimum qualifications):Education: An MBA or other relevant postgraduate or professional : A minimum of 10 years of experience in a leadership role within a multinational shared services (SSC) or equivalent environment, with proven (8+ years) success in managing large, cross-functional senior leadership teams (500+ employees) across multiple international : Strong financial and business acumen with experience in resource allocation and budget management; ability to develop and execute long-term functional strategic plans. Problem-solving and conflict resolution.What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications):Demonstrated expertise in spearheading complex, large-scale business transformation projects, including service transitions and technology implementations (e.g., AI, automation).A track record of developing high-performing leaders and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operating across diverse cultural environments with high self-awareness and a collaborative, inclusive leadership style.Exceptional problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and make results-oriented choices.Additional Information:Travel: Up to 40% annually to international sites including Warsaw (Poland), Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia), Bangalore (India), and Guadalajara (Mexico).Location: Global Elanco Headquarters - Indianapolis, IN - Hybrid Work EnvironmentDon't meet every single requirement?
