District Courier Hourly
Location: Burlington County Institute of Technology & Burlington County Special Services - Shared Position Summary BCIT & BCSSSD is seeking a reliable and responsible District Courier to provide timely pickup and delivery services across all district locations. This position plays a key role in supporting daily operations by ensuring the safe and efficient transport of mail, materials, and equipment.
Qualifications: Valid Driver's License (required)Minimum of three (3) years of safe driving experience High School Diploma or equivalent Ability to lift at least 50 pounds Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to work independently and follow assigned delivery schedules
Hourly Rate: $16.00 to $20.00 per hour
Reports To: School Business Administrator
Performance Responsibilities: Provide pickup and delivery of internal mail to all district sites on an assigned schedule Perform pre-delivery sorting, inspection, and determine appropriate routing for mail and packages Deliver special packages, books, and school materials as needed Assist Transportation, Facilities, and the School Business Administrator as assigned Support business office functions, including banking-related tasks Transport furniture and equipment between school locations Assist maintenance and operations crews as needed Respond to after-hours emergencies when requested Deliver Board of Education agendas and materials to board members Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor
