Customer Service Coordinator
Location: Champaign, Illinois
Schedule: Hybrid
Compensation: $50,000-53,000/yr. We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Customer Service Coordinator to join our clients team. This role will serve as a key point of contact for customers while supporting internal sales teams to ensure orders, requests, and day-to-day customer needs are handled efficiently and accurately.
Key Responsibilities: Serve as a primary point of contact for customers, providing timely and professional support. Respond to customer inquiries regarding orders, products, pricing, shipping, and general account needs. Process and maintain customer orders, quotes, purchase orders, and related documentation. Coordinate with internal departments to resolve customer questions and ensure requests are handled efficiently. Maintain accurate customer and order information within internal systems. Track orders and follow up on outstanding items to ensure timely resolution. Assist with resolving discrepancies, issues, and customer concerns. Provide clear communication and updates to customers throughout the order process. Maintain organized records and documentation related to customer activity. Support the team with additional administrative and customer service responsibilities as needed.
Qualifications: 2+ years of customer service, customer support, order processing, administrative, or related experience. Experience working with SAP, JD Edwards, or a similar ERP system preferred. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong problem-solving and follow-up skills. Comfortable working with Microsoft Office and other computer-based systems. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Professional, dependable, and customer-focused approach. High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education is a plus.
