About the role
Legal Billing & Collections Coordinator *ON-SITE POSITION* About the role An established, fast-growing law firm is hiring an organized, proactive billing professional to manage follow-ups on attorney lien files and referred-out cases. This is a training-forward role — we care more about someone sharp, driven, and detail-obsessed than someone who already knows personal injury. If you have billing experience and want to own a process end to end, this is a seat with real upside.
What you'll do:
Track and follow up on attorney lien files through resolution Manage collections on cases referred out to co-counsel, keeping every file moving Own monthly collections targets and chase what's outstanding Keep clean, current records across active files Flag stalled files early and drive them to close What we're looking for Billing, collections, or accounts receivable experience (legal or medical billing a plus) Organized and proactive — you don't wait to be asked twice Comfortable owning follow-up and pushing files forward Trainable and hungry; law-firm background not required Compensation Competitive base salary Monthly bonus structure tied to collections
Before you apply
Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.
Your profile is current
It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.
Two examples you can talk through
Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.
A number in mind
What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.
Your notice period
Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.
Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
