About the role

Walmart Inc. is seeking a Principal Data Scientist in Sunnyvale, CA to drive innovation across the Search and Personalization stack. You will design and deploy ML models for search relevance, ranking, and recommendations, leading cross-functional teams and mentoring engineers. You will lead model architectures, production deployments, and experiments to optimize KPIs, applying state‑of‑the‑art ML techniques and coordinating with ML engineers and platform teams.
