Assistant Finance Director
Location: Northbrook, ILJoin a unique multi-company finance organization supporting nearly 40 privately held businesses across North America. This highly visible role partners directly with senior finance leadership to strengthen operations, solve complex financial challenges, and help Controllers implement smarter systems, controls, and processes. What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Partner with Controllers to improve financial processes, controls, systems, and reporting
  • Review operations and identify practical opportunities for improvement
  • Support cash management, audits, governance, and recurring financial activities
  • Lead special projects including acquisitions, due diligence, and systems implementations
  • Travel to operating companies throughout the U.S. and CanadaAbout YouCPA required
  • Strong controllership, accounting, systems, and internal-controls expertise
  • Consultative communicator who can influence rather than simply audit
  • Manufacturing, industrial, distribution, or metals experience preferred
  • Able to work onsite in Northbrook when not traveling
