About the role

Responsible for the design and development of filtration systems. Conceptualizes complex new product designs, changes, and concepts to meet internal and external product specifications, cost, and timing. Works with cross-functional teams to evaluate product designs and specifications, determining feasibility while minimizing costs for development and manufacturing. Collaborates with operations to understand process capabilities and provides product design recommendations aligned with production strategies. Coordinates all computer-aided engineering (CAE) necessary to validate product designs analytically. Analyzes results to optimize design for performance, robust manufacturing, and cost efficiency. Completes CAD tasks as assigned by the Lead Product Engineer (LPE) and/or Manager – Design & Development. Occasionally coordinates and reviews engineering and CAD tasks with GBTS. Actively participates in and supports Kaizen/DLS workshops and annual objectives. Completes required tasks for each Gate per xSEP process.
