About the role

Responsibilities: Manage accounting activities for assigned real estate development and construction projectsTrack project costs, budgets, invoices, and expendituresPrepare and maintain project financial reports and schedulesAssist with monthly close and account reconciliationsReview project-related invoices and ensure expenses are properly coded and allocatedWork closely with project managers, development teams, and other internal stakeholdersMonitor project budgets and identify variances or discrepanciesAssist with construction and development accounting, including project cost trackingSupport financial reporting and other accounting initiatives as neededQualifications3–7+ years of accounting experience, with project accounting experience preferredReal estate, construction, or development accounting experience strongly preferredExperience working for a real estate owner/developer is idealCandidates coming from a general contractor or construction environment will also be consideredStrong understanding of project costs, budgets, and financial reportingExcellent attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environmentStrong communication and interpersonal skillsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
