Position Summary: The Industrial Services Account Manager is responsible for owning client relationships, driving revenue growth, and ensuring operational alignment for industrial cleaning services within assigned accounts. This role serves as the primary liaison between the customer and operations, ensuring work is executed safely, profitably, and in alignment with client expectations. This position operates in active industrial environments and requires strong coordination with field operations, safety teams, and client stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities: Account Ownership & Relationship ManagementServe as primary contact for plant-level and corporate stakeholdersBuild relationships with plant managers, maintenance managers, turnaround coordinators, and procurement teamsConduct regular client check-ins and performance reviewsIdentify expansion opportunities within existing sitesMaintain strong customer satisfaction and retention across all accounts Revenue Growth & Margin AccountabilityOwn revenue performance and gross margin for assigned accountsEnsure pricing aligns with: Labor requirementsEquipment utilizationRisk and safety considerationsMeet or exceed sales targets and growth objectivesPartner with operations to analyze job performance, cost drivers, and profitabilitySupport billing accuracy, ticket validation, and AR follow-up Sales & Business Development (Within Accounts) Promote and sell all industrial cleaning service lines to existing clientsIdentify and pursue cross-selling and upselling opportunitiesStay informed on market trends, competitor activity, and client needsProvide feedback to leadership on new service opportunities and gaps Operations Alignment & Execution SupportPartner closely with: Division ManagersSupervisorsDispatch / Scheduling teamsParticipate in: Job walksScope development and validationResource planningEnsure clear alignment between client expectations and field executionSupport real-time issue resolution in the field to maintain service quality Safety & Compliance LeadershipPromote and enforce company and client safety standardsEnsure all scopes of work align with safe work practices and regulatory requirementsParticipate in: Pre-job planningSafety meetingsClient auditsReinforce a zero-incident safety culture Contract, Billing & Administrative OversightEnsure purchase orders are secured prior to job executionVerify all work tickets are accurate and aligned with scope and pricingAssist in resolving billing discrepancies and customer disputesMaintain accurate account documentation, reports, and activity tracking Reporting & Continuous ImprovementProvide regular updates to leadership on: Account performanceCustomer feedbackRevenue opportunitiesRisks and challengesContinuously improve performance through: Client feedbackOperational insightsInternal collaborationOther Duties as required and/or assignedQualifications 5+ years in industrial cleaning, plant services, or heavy industrial environmentsStrong understanding of labor-intensive job execution and job costingExperience in refineries or petrochemical environments preferredProven ability to manage plant-level relationships Key CompetenciesCommercial and financial acumenStrategic thinkingNegotiation and influenceOperational awarenessRelationship managementData-driven decision-makingSafety and risk awareness Work EnvironmentCombination of office, field, and client site visitsTravel requiredAvailability during outages or critical operations Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) StatementVecta Environmental Services, LLC is an Equal Opportunity Employer and is committed to creating an inclusive workplace for all employees.
