We're extremely proud of our portfolio of brands, our achievements in sustainability and industrialization and the groundbreaking work accomplished by our people.While reporting to the Customer Service Manager, you will be a customer advocate who shows great follow-through and can be highly productive in a fast-paced work environment.What you'll be doing:Handle any customer questions or concerns regarding order status and other related issues.Maintain customer files both physical and electronic.Accept and process orders directly from the customer.Coordinate with production and ensure orders are scheduled and all deliveries are on time.Quote customers pricing, enter new customer projects and any corrective actions.Prepare sample orders for sales staff and customers.Work closely with account managers to ensure applicable customer situations are resolved and communicated properly, may assist in new projects for customers.Manage complex customer issues analyze causative factors and determine resolution while ensuring cooperation with internal partners through status communication, effective explanation of needs and desired outcome.Help research any current or potential accounts receivable problems with your assigned customers and manage resolution with A/R and Account Managers.This position is located in Arlington Heights, IL location.We'd love to hear from you if:You have a High School diploma or GEDYou have well-polished written communications and verbal skillsYou have two years' experience preferred within an office setting and multi-line phone systemBilingual ability (English/Spanish) verbal and written skills are preferredYou are proficient in all Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)Compensation:The annual base salary range for this role is from $51,040 to $57,420.At Sonoco Products Company, we offer a comprehensive total rewards package, including competitive pay and benefits.
