About the role
Park Ambassadors serve as an additional set of eyes and ears in one of the City of Corona's 38 public parks. Park Ambassadors are asked to do the following: Visit your assigned park once a week or twice a month at minimum Look over the features of the park and use the park observation checklist Make an effort to be informative and answer park patron questions Attend scheduled meetings with the Park division of the department to go over progress and areas of concern Never confront or pursue persons involved in behavior that is illegal or suspicious All volunteers will undergo a full background check, including Live Scan, paid for by the City of Corona.
Before you apply
Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.
Your profile is current
It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.
Two examples you can talk through
Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.
A number in mind
What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.
Your notice period
Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.
Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
