Position Overview:
The assembly technician is focused on supporting the highest standards of safety, quality, and teamwork to ensure every job meetsthe customer’s requirements and exceeds expectations.
Key objectives for this role:
- Safety is of upmost importance in leading across production operations.
- Facilitate effective communication in a cross functional team setting.
- Ensure quality standards are met and enforced.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to improve productivity. JobDuties and Responsibilities:
- Perform mechanical assembly and electrical testing of electro-mechanical assemblies.
- Identify product non-conformances immediately upon discovery.
- Participate in root cause corrective action measures to prevent recurring non-conformances and escaping defects.
- Adhere to defined work instructions and processes to produce consistent high-quality work.
Work and communicate in a highly professional and respectful manner with colleagues and customers alike. Success in this position will require the development of cooperative, cross-functional, team-based relationships that are based on strong, professional communication and clear understanding of objectives.
Requirements:
Extensive hands-on experience with electro-mechanical assemblies and troubleshooting.
Strong ability to read and interpret technical documentation: Specifications, Procedures, Drawings, and Manuals.
Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles preferred.
J-STD-101 and IPC-A-610 certification preferred. __________________________________________ _________
