Job Title
Primary Duties: Checks consistency of dropped batches and alerts supervisor of any poorly mixed batches Maintains a steady stream of rubber from the dump mill to the calender box Adjusts water valves and nip gap on dump and strip mills to ensure proper rubber adhesion to front bowl Keeps conveyor belts and belt rollers clear of any excess rubber Retrieves tails from Line 2 calender and places them back onto strip mill Has a working knowledge of the safety devices on the mills and calender Assists the calender operator when needed Keeps work area clean and free of safety hazards Initiate action to prevent the occurrence of any nonconformities related to product, process and the system Control further processing, delivery, or installation of nonconforming product until the deficiency or unsatisfactory condition has been corrected Equal Employment Opportunity/Veterans/Disability Employer
