About the role
- Inspect, test, troubleshoot, and perform preventive maintenance on scientific and technical equipment, including air, water, and radiation monitoring systems
- Calibrate instruments in accordance with manufacturer specifications and applicable standards
- Operate and support environmental monitoring equipment used for air quality, water sampling, and radiological detection in field environments
- Identify equipment issues and perform basic repairs or coordinate repair actions as directed
- Maintain service records, calibration logs, and equipment documentation
- Prepare, configure, and stage equipment for operational use, storage, or transport
- Warehouse, Inventory & Asset Accountability Duties:
- Receive, inspect, store, issue, and track equipment, parts, and materials
- Maintain accurate inventory and property records in designated systems
- Ensure asset accountability of all assigned equipment, including serialized and sensitive items
- Assist with and support inventory audits, inspections, and property accountability reviews
- Conduct cycle counts and physical inventories; identify, document, and report discrepancies
- Package and prepare equipment for shipment in accordance with handling, labeling, and documentation requirements
- Maintain an organized, clean, and secure warehouse environment
