About the role
Ecommerce Merchandising Specialist The Ecommerce Merchandising Specialist plays a key role in how The Honey Baked Ham Company's products show up and sell across our digital commerce platforms. This role is responsible for the operational management of menu and product content — from the overall menu assortment on each platform to the individual product details that make each listing accurate, compelling, and on-brand through strong digital merchandising. This role ensures customers have a consistent and engaging experience with HoneyBaked wherever they shop.
Essential Functions:
- Product & Menu Content Management
- Manage menu and product content across all digital commerce platforms, including honeybaked.com, third-party delivery marketplaces (DoorDash, Grubhub, and Uber Eats), ezCater, and Amazon
- Execute product and menu launches, updates, and seasonal changes accurately and on schedule across all platforms in alignment with business direction
- Ensure consistency of product names, descriptions, imagery, and modifier groups across all digital channels, accurately reflecting current pricing and inventory availability
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve product and menu content issues across platforms; escalate technical or platform-level issues to the appropriate team
- Partner with internal teams to ensure menu and product content is accurate, current, and reflective of the brand and business needs
- Platform Operations
- Operate within platform-specific tools and portals (e.g., Olo, Amazon Seller Central, CMS) to manage and publish menu and product content
- Monitor platform-level menu and product content and flag anomalies, discrepancies, or issues appropriately
- Maintain product detail pages (PDPs) and product list pages (PLPs) to ensure merchandising standards are met across all platforms
- Support product content updates across honeybaked.com as needed, including product features and listings within campaign and landing pages
- Assist with quality assurance across platforms following menu and product updates, launches, or system changes
- Campaign & Promotion Support
- Support the execution of digital campaigns and promotions through timely and accurate menu and product content updates across platforms
- Assist with seasonal and promotional product setups, including limited-time offerings, meal configurations, and offer accuracy
- Coordinate with the broader marketing team to ensure menu and product content aligns with campaign messaging, timing, and creative direction
- Amazon Product Content
- Manage Amazon product listings, including catalog accuracy, product detail pages, imagery, and descriptions
- Ensure Amazon product content is consistent with other digital commerce platforms and meets Amazon's platform-specific requirements
- Flag Amazon product content issues and coordinate resolution with the appropriate team
- Content Accuracy & Governance
- Maintain a working knowledge of the full menu and product assortment and platform-specific content requirements for each digital channel
- Follow established content governance processes and brand standards for all menu and product content
- Support audits of menu and product content across platforms to identify gaps, inconsistencies, or outdated information
- Cross-Functional Coordination
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to stay informed of new item introductions, product updates, and discontinuations
- Communicate menu and product content updates to relevant internal stakeholders as appropriate
- Participate in cross-functional project work as needed to support digital commerce initiatives
- Experience2–4 years of experience in digital commerce, ecommerce operations, content management, or a related field
- Hands-on experience managing product or menu content within a CMS, ecommerce platform, or marketplace portal
- Familiarity with third-party delivery or marketplace platforms (DoorDash, Uber Eats, Grubhub, Amazon, ezCater, or equivalent) preferred; specific platform experience is trainable
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage a high volume of menu and product updates accurately across multiple platforms simultaneously
- Comfortable identifying and troubleshooting product and menu content issues with a solutions-oriented approach
- A marketing mindset with an understanding of how digital merchandising supports campaign, brand, and customer engagement goals
- Ability to manage competing priorities and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
- Clear written communication skills for internal coordination and documentation
- Experience in a DTC, CPG, restaurant, or food/beverage environment a plus
- EducationBachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field preferred
