Stoneridge Software is looking for a Finance Solution Architect who will be responsible for consulting on Dynamics 365 Finance and Supply Chain Management (F&SCM)/F&O engagements including implementation, upgrade, and/or extension of existing applications. Our Solution Architects are key leaders within our delivery team, they are responsible for the overall solution strategy, architecture and development of solution proposals and the execution of that plan in partnership with the Technical Architecture and Project Management teams. Our Solution Architects are responsible for providing leadership and guidance on projects through Stoneridge Software methodologies and best practices, while ensuring we exceed our clients' goals.A Day in the LifeLead the configuration and deployment of enterprise-level D365 F&SCM Finance direct customer projects - including conceptual design, planning, and testingCreate & deliver the solution blueprint in accordant with Stoneridge Methodologies and Microsoft and/or industry best practices in collaboration with the technical team and Technical ArchitectCreate Solution estimates in partnership with the Technical Architect and support in SOW creation based on Roadmaps in coordination with SalesCollaborate with project management for project scoping, analysis, and estimationsProvide strong project and team leadership, partnering with clients to drive organizational adoption of new or changed processes and systemsPerform the Solution Architect role in the analysis phase of a D365 F&SCM implementationEvaluate business processes and user needs to create written functional requirements and design specifications, and collaborate with developers to ensure their completionAct as solution advisor to the project during design/development, testing and deployment phasesEnsure a formal process is in place for testing and issues resolution, specifically around the functional architecture and integration points of the implementationConduct user training, assist with user acceptance testing, aid in the creation and maintenance of training tutorials and documentation, and post-live supportProactively monitor upcoming D365 releases, relevant Microsoft updates, and other related industry trendsPerform occasional pre-sales activitiesAssist in relationship management between 3rd-party vendors and clients, and effectively communicate any necessary information to the internal product team or Project ManagerTrack status of tasks through Azure DevOps, and field any team or client matters as necessaryAdhere to Stoneridge’s implementation methodology while seeking opportunities to share best practices and contribute to methodology improvements as the business growsLeverage knowledge and experience to find and encourage win-win solutions with team members and clientsOrganize tasks and projects efficiently and set clear goals to ensure timely completionMake effective decisions and recommendations for Stoneridge Software and our clients’ best interestsDeliver high-quality work within established deadlines, ensuring accuracy and attention to detailPrioritize self-development by attending training or self-learning to enhance skills and expertiseInstill trust through honesty, integrity, and respect, modeling the organization’s values and visionPreferred QualificationsBachelor's degree in Information Technology, Accounting, Business, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent work experience5+ years of direct functional and technical experience, leading full-life cycle implementationsExceptional understanding of D365 F&SCM Finance architecture and supporting functional modules5+ years of experience with the following: .NET/X++, AX 2009 / 2012 and D365 F&SCM Finance, solution design for complex integrations and customizations, and Microsoft-hosted environment and release management tools and processes requiredExperience with construction industry strongly preferredUnderstanding of Integration Architecture and Data ArchitectureExperience with Power PlatformDemonstrated leadership role on enterprise-level projectsAbility to move between high-level architectural review/design and the “roll up the sleeves” level of performing all phases of an implementation – including knowledge in system upgrades and integrationsExperience conducting requirements gathering and Fit-Gap analysisAbility to translate requirements into the architecture for the solutionWorking knowledge of ISV solutionsBackground working in the corporate business aspect of the finance industry, as well as technical knowledge of finance solutions on the market is a plusHolding of relevant Microsoft D365 applicable certifications such as MB-310, MB-330, MB-700, etc.Working knowledge of industry-specific best practicesExcellent communication, planning and organization skills – both within a team and as an individualStrong customer relationship skillsAbility to be the trusted voice at the decision-making tableAbility to establish priorities and work independentlyAbility to communicate effectively in both spoken and written English Exhibits Stoneridge Software’s Core Values of Integrity, Technical Excellence, Tenacity, Client Centric, and Enjoy your Work *Years of experience are not required to be consecutive Work Location: This position is available remotely in the United States. Travel Required: Incumbent is expected to travel across the United States and Canada for industry events and, as needed, for onsite client, project, delivery, or in‑person collaboration at company office locations in Fargo, ND and Minneapolis, MN. Various factors impact our pay ranges including market conditions and national salary data.
