This executive will be responsible for both go-to-market design and the commercial operations that support it. The successful candidate will chair the cross-functional GTM forum, own the prioritized GTM roadmap, and define the ideal customer profile and target account strategy. They will also be tasked with building the launch architecture for new products, designing partner and channel plays, and aligning with marketing on launch timing and messaging. On the commercial operations side, the role involves owning annual planning, designing the sales compensation framework, and leading full commercial performance reporting. The VP will be expected to lead a team from day one, with a focus on people leadership, and to serve as a thought partner to the CBO on market opportunities and commercial operations investments. Applicants for this role at the company should have a minimum of 12 years' experience in GTM strategy, commercial strategy, or commercial operations within the B2B enterprise software sector, with a strong emphasis on GTM strategy. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading through influence across various commercial functions, fluency in enterprise selling, and hands-on experience with sales compensation design and commercial performance reporting. Familiarity with deal desk operations and a strong analytical background are also required. The role demands an executive with a high level of presence, capable of engaging with the CBO and other leaders, and who is adept at using data to support commercial plans. Experience in AI or analytics contexts, particularly with data products, and a background in global or regionally distributed teams, are preferred.
