About the role
A high-growth AI startup is looking to hire a Senior Capture Manager. Their predictive analytics x emergency management platform is used by everyone from state and federal agencies, to sporting venues and energy companies. This has been a massive year for them, securing the World Cup and other major events. They are looking to hire a Senior Capture Manager with relationships spanning primarily public sector growth. This is a full lifecycle Business Development, Proposal Development, Capture Management position with a very high upside in what is "blue ocean" for this emerging AI player.Key ResponsibilitiesIdentify and qualify federal, state, local, tribal, territorial (SLTT), and commercial opportunities.Lead capture strategy, competitive assessments, win strategies, teaming, and pursuit execution.Manage compliant responses to RFIs, Sources Sought, RFQs, RFPs, IFBs, and proposals.Research and track opportunities through Govly, GovWin, SAM.gov, and other procurement portals.Coordinate technical, pricing, legal, contracts, and executive stakeholders through submission.Develop compliance matrices, proposal schedules, executive summaries, and final submissions.Own CRM pipeline forecasting, reporting, and executive updates.Support GSA, NASPO, OMNIA Partners, Sourcewell, and other cooperative purchasing opportunities.Required QualificationsTop requirement: Proven success selling to the government sector with an established senior-level network across emergency management, homeland security, defense, public safety, and related agencies.7+ years in homeland security, defense, emergency management, public safety, or mission-critical technology.7+ years of capture management experience across government and commercial markets.7+ years developing RFIs, RFQs, RFPs, Sources Sought responses, proposals, compliance materials, and submissions.Demonstrated record of winning competitive contracts.Hands-on Govly experience; familiarity with GovWin, SAM.gov, CRM, and proposal management platforms.Strong executive communication, writing, organization, and project leadership skills.Bachelor’s degree required; MBA, MPA, MS, or similar advanced degree preferred.(Preferred) Active Secret or Top Secret ClearanceCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive salaryPerformance-based annual bonusStock options/equity participation100% employer-paid healthcare options, vision, dental insurancePTO and paid holidaysProfessional development and career advancement
