About the role

Home Health Pavilion is looking for a friendly, organized, and dependable Front Desk / Customer Service Intake Representative to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys helping people and can provide excellent customer service in a busy medical equipment storefront.
Responsibilities: Greet and assist customers, patients, and caregivers Answer incoming phone calls and respond to customer questions Help customers with walkers, wheelchairs, bathroom safety equipment, respiratory equipment, incontinence supplies, and other DME products Process new patient referrals and intake information Collect demographics, prescriptions, insurance information, and required documentation Verify insurance information and help coordinate orders Communicate with doctors’ offices, facilities, patients, and caregivers Enter and update patient information in our system Assist with showroom sales and general front-desk responsibilities Follow up on open orders and help ensure patients receive their equipment as quickly as possible
Qualifications: Previous customer service or office experience requiredDME, medical office, healthcare, pharmacy, or insurance experience is a big plus Strong phone and communication skills Comfortable working with computers and learning new systems Organized and able to handle multiple tasks Friendly, professional, and patient-focused Bilingual is a plus Position: Full-Time Company: Home Health Pavilion Industry: Durable Medical Equipment (DME)We’re looking for someone who wants to grow with our company while helping patients get the equipment and supplies they need to remain safe and independent at home.
