Job OpportunityThis is a remote position. In STAR7 we support our customers throughout the product information and content life cycle. STAR7 started its activity as a Language Service Provider more than 20 years ago. We are specialized in localization and internationalization. We are looking for an English Copywriter who will develop and write content for the technical and medical field (eye care).The selected candidate will be part of a multinational team of creative people writing engaging and accurate copies for our Client's innovative solutions designed to empower practices, simplify workflows, and improve patient outcomes. The ideal candidate has the right mix of writing expertise for the medical-technical field and attention to detail.Location: Remote (anywhere as long as it's compatible with a 9:30 AM to 4:30 PM CET working day from Monday to Friday) Start date: October 2025 Project Duration: ongoing - upon successful 1-m probation, it'll be 3 or 6 months (TBC) with possible extensions.The main responsibilities of the successful candidate will include:Research, conceptualize, and write clear, accurate, and engaging content related to eye care, ophthalmology, and medical devices.Develop a variety of content types including product descriptions, brochures, white papers, web copy, blog posts, and educational materials for both B2B and B2C audiences.Translate complex medical and technical information into accessible, reader-friendly language while maintaining scientific accuracy.Write, edit, refresh and refine Social Media postings, Newsletter and Direct Email Marketing content, and similar.Ensure all content aligns with the brand's voice, tone, and messaging guidelines.Adapt writing style to suit different formats, audiences, and platforms (e.g. professional vs. consumer-facing content).Work closely with either Creative team members or product managers and R&D teams to gather accurate information and validate content.Participate in content review cycles with internal stakeholders and external reviewers to ensure factual accuracy and compliance.Support localization teams by creating source content that is culturally neutral and easy to adapt for international markets.Requirements:English native speaker and able to write for both English UK or English US variants/markets with a preference to English UK variant.Up to date with trends in eye care, medical writing, and healthcare communication.Self-starter with ability to execute autonomously.Critical reading and thinking skills.Resilience and the ability to accept constructive feedback.A growth mindset.Exceptional writing skills and attention to details.Ability to maintain professionalism under pressure and meet tight deadlines.Benefits:This role is on a freelancer basis and it asks for an availability of 30 hours per week. Compensation is by the hour.
