About the role
WHO WE ARE:
The Sales Manager, Workboots.com Corporate Safety Program Powered by GALLS is responsible for leading the sales team supporting the WorkBoots.com Corporate Safety Program. This role will oversee both Key Account Managers focused on customer retention, account growth, and relationship management and Inside Account Executives focused on new business acquisition and revenue growth. The ideal candidate is a strong sales leader who can balance account management with new business development, coach and develop sales talent, and create accountability around revenue growth and customer success. Previous experience in the uniform, workwear, safety footwear, PPE, or related industry is preferred.
WHAT YOU'LL DO: Sales Leadership
Lead, coach, and develop Key Account Managers and Inside Account Executives. Establish clear sales priorities, goals, expectations, and accountability across the team. Monitor sales performance, pipeline activity, customer retention, and growth opportunities. Build a high-performance sales culture focused on execution, urgency, and customer service.
Existing Account Retention & Growth:
Provide oversight of strategic and key Corporate Safety Program accounts.
Partner with Key Account Managers to strengthen customer relationships and drive retention.
Identify opportunities to expand existing programs, product categories, locations, and employee participation.
Develop strategies to protect at-risk business and improve overall account performance.
New Business Development:
Lead Inside Account Executives responsible for prospecting and acquiring new Corporate Safety Program customers.
Drive consistent pipeline development and prospecting activity.
Coach the team on opportunity qualification, discovery, presentations, proposals, and closing.
Help identify and pursue opportunities within target industries and strategic accounts.
Cross-Functional Partnership:
Partner with internal teams including Merchandising, Operations, Customer Experience, Marketing, and Technology to support successful customer programs.
Ensure strong communication and execution throughout customer onboarding, program launches, and ongoing account management.
Advocate for customer needs while balancing company goals and operational capabilities.
WHAT YOU BRINGProven experience leading a B2B sales or account management team.
Strong track record of driving customer retention, account growth, and new business acquisition.
Experience coaching sales professionals and managing performance against measurable goals.
Strong communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
Experience with CRM systems, pipeline management, forecasting, and sales reporting.
Previous experience in the uniform industry is preferred.
Experience with workwear, safety footwear, PPE, employee purchasing programs, or corporate uniform programs is a plus.
