Company: Digital Transformation Consulting FirmOverviewWe're partnering with a leading digital transformation consultancy to bring on a Freelance Product Manager with deep experience in healthcare. This role will sit at the intersection of business strategy, technology, and user experience—helping shape and deliver innovative platform solutions for healthcare clients (payers, providers, or health tech organizations).
Key Responsibilities: Lead end-to-end product lifecycle for healthcare platform initiatives—from discovery through deliveryPartner with stakeholders (clinical teams, operations, technology, compliance) to define product vision, strategy, and roadmapTranslate complex business and regulatory requirements into clear product specs, user stories, and prioritized backlogsCollaborate closely with engineering, design, and data teams to deliver scalable, user-centric solutionsDrive agile ceremonies (sprint planning, standups, retrospectives) and ensure timely deliveryAnalyze platform performance and user feedback to inform continuous improvementsAct as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical teamsEnsure product decisions align with healthcare compliance standards (HIPAA, HITRUST, etc.) where applicableQualifications 2+ years of Product Management experience, ideally within healthcare, health insurance, or health tech environmentsExperience working on data-heavy platforms, dashboards, or enterprise systems (e.g., claims, care management, member/patient-facing tools) Proven ability to work within digital transformation or consulting environmentsStrong experience with Agile/Scrum methodologiesExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsNice to HaveExperience with care management systems, claims platforms, or payer/provider systemsFamiliarity with data tools (SQL, BI tools, dashboards) Background working with consulting firms or enterprise healthcare clientsExposure to cloud-based platforms or modern data architecturesFamiliarity with healthcare interoperability standards (FHIR, HL7)
