About the Role:
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Asset Management to oversee the technical, financial, and operational performance of its utility-scale solar and battery energy storage portfolios. The successful candidate will be responsible for fostering a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement within the asset management teams, and ensuring that all activities align with client objectives, contractual commitments, and business goals. This role involves leading both strategic and day-to-day activities, evaluating team performance, and providing professional development opportunities. The VP will also be instrumental in developing and implementing policies and procedures to optimize efficiency, as well as staying current with industry trends to recommend operational enhancements. Applicants must have a minimum of 8-10 years' experience in asset management, with a strong preference for those with a commercial or technical background. A working knowledge of BESS technology fundamentals, safety and compliance requirements, and experience in managing stakeholders and contracts across various providers is essential. The role requires a candidate with a BA/BS in a business or technical related discipline, and a proven track record in leading an asset management group. Key skills include excellent communication, planning, and organizational abilities, adaptability, problem-solving, and proficiency in Microsoft products. Experience with AI tools for asset management and a background in BESS commissioning, testing, and dispute resolution are preferred. Functions Finance
