About the role
Our Client, a specialty contractor in barriers and markings is seeking to add a Project Manager to their team in Genessee, WI. This individual plays a crucial role in managing all projects around a growing Traffic Control business. The PM will ensure every project is properly planned, staffed, profitable, and completed safely while meeting customer expectations. This is a full-time, in office role that pays a highly competitive salary, a guaranteed bonus, a full relocation package (if needed) and a strong benefit package – Health, Dental and Vision covered at 80% - and a 401K plan that sees a 20% reinvestment in the employee. The key to this role is proven project management experience in the construction industry. The incumbent will: Review plans and specifications to understand what is needed to execute the work and coordinate that with the superintendent. Manage contracts, change orders, and project documentation. Monitor project profitability. Create work orders for onsite crew and review them before billing. Coordinate manpower with the Superintendent. Balance workloads across multiple projects. Ensure compliance with safety regulations, contract requirements, and applicable MUTCD and DOT standards. Provide support to the estimating department in preparing commercial traffic control estimates throughout the bidding process. Resolve billing questions with the Project Engineer. Ensure timely project completion. Support Superintendents and Foremen with job scheduling. Ensure all emails from customers are addressed in a timely manner. Review onsite crew hours for issues or customer discrepancies. Attend job meetings.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years experience in the construction industry 3+ years experience as a Project Manager 3+ years experience in trades/construction projects pertaining to reading plans, material, labor, equipment, time requirements and contracts.3+ years experience using any ERP system
- Proficiency in the Microsoft office suite of tools to include Excel, Word, Outlook
- Preferred but not required
- Experience in the traffic control industry
Experience with projects in concrete, asphalt, bridgework or any road related project work.
Bachelors DegreeAny AI usage or expertise (Claude)
Software experience with B2W/Trimble
Software experience with Vista by Viewpoint
Any experience with BlueBeam or HeavyBid software
