Overview In this role you drive complex software design and development within a cross-functional team, contributing to multiple systems and mentoring junior engineers. You translate user needs into robust technical solutions and help shape project plans and development methodologies. You collaborate with internal and external tech resources to resolve challenging issues and advance product quality. You will work in an environment that values strong coding practices, data modeling, and scalable design to deliver impactful software products. Compensation / Benefitsannual incentive bonuscountry specific benefitsdisability accommodation support Responsibilities Finalize requirements with technical peers Write and review detailed specifications for complex components Complete complex bug fixes Collaborate to translate product requirements into designs Implement development processes, coding best practices, and code reviews Operate in Agile, Waterfall, and other environments Mentor entry-level engineers and share optimization techniques Stay current with new technology developments Design and work with complex data models Other duties as assigned Key requirements 5+ years of Software Engineering experienceBS Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent experience Advanced knowledge of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall)Strong data manipulation and optimization skills Strong understanding of normalized/dimensional data modeling Knowledge of multiple data storage subsystems Proficiency in Java/J2EE, Java Script, JSP, C/C++, HTML, XML, SQL,.Net Strong research and communication skills Experience with test-driven development Ability to write/review complex specifications and fix intricate bugs Ability to mentor and train junior engineers Good oral and written communications skills Mentoring and coaching Cross-functional collaboration Java/J2EEJava ScriptJSP
