About the role
Leak TesterA manufacturing company is seeking to fill an open position for a Leak Tester who can make TIG Welding repairs on fuel tanks. Work hours are Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Job Duties:
Perform leak testing on diesel fuel tanks and hydraulic reservoirs in accordance with established work instructions and quality standards Identify the source of any leaks found and perform Tig Welding repairs on steel, stainless steel, and aluminum to correct them Read and interpret prints to verify tanks and reservoirs conform to specifications Follow written work instructions accurately and consistently Use basic hand tools and apply working knowledge of various thread pitches and thread types when inspecting and servicing fitting and ports Maintain accurate and complete records of test results Report identified defects or recurring issues to Quality and Production as needed Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
