About the role
Collaborating with production teams and on-air talent, the full-time Studio Producer, Sports will produce live sports programming, manage production staff, and make real-time decisions to ensure engaging broadcasts from the Michigan home office.
Key responsibilities:
Support the live production of studio shows and pre-game/post-game coverage
Coordinate production staff and collaborate with on-air talent and department leaders to develop show content
Make real-time production decisions and troubleshoot issues during live broadcasts
Required qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in broadcasting, communications, journalism, or a related field preferred, or equivalent experience
3+ years of experience in sports broadcasting or live television production preferred
Knowledge of live production workflows and control room operations
Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on sports programming requirements
Strong leadership and decision-making skills in a fast-paced environment
