About the role
Position Overview:
Our employer, a well-established construction management organization is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee multiple construction projects from preconstruction through completion. The Project Manager will be responsible for ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to established quality standards, while managing project teams, subcontractors, vendors, and client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage multiple construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. Assist with estimating, budgeting, scheduling, and preconstruction activities. Review plans, specifications, contracts, and construction documents. Develop and maintain project budgets, schedules, projections, and reporting. Manage submittals, shop drawings, samples, and change orders. Coordinate Superintendents, subcontractors, vendors, and project personnel. Monitor project progress, quality, safety, and financial performance. Conduct regular job-site visits. Serve as the primary contact for owners/clients. Manage owner invoicing, project costs, collections, and AIA pay applications (G702/G703).Coordinate required inspections and regulatory requirements. Assist with problem-solving and provide technical guidance to project teams.
Qualifications:
*Must currently reside in the Palm Beach County Metro Region*10+ years of construction project management experience preferred. Experience with a variety of construction methods and delivery systems. Strong knowledge of construction contracts, project budgets, job costing, and projections. Experience with AIA billing, G702/G703, and change orders. Construction or Engineering degree preferred but not required. Contractor, Architecture, or Engineering license preferred but not required. Strong communication, organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a deadline-driven environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Experience with construction management software; Foundation Construction Management Software is a plus. Experience with Microsoft Project, Asana, or similar platforms preferred.
