Valley Health System in affiliation with the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai is actively recruiting a Program Director for Hospice and Palliative Care Fellowship. This position offers the opportunity to design, develop, and operate a new training program while maintaining a clinical practice. The role is based at The Valley Hospital in Paramus, New Jersey, within a state-of-the-art acute care hospital setting. Responsibilities: Design, develop, and operate a new training program as well as maintain a clinical practice at VHS Provide quality education in a clinical environment serving diverse patients Contribute to peer-reviewed journals and work with residents to foster their interest in scholarly activity Spend 80% of time performing clinical responsibilities and 20% of time performing administrative responsibilities as Hospice and Palliative Care fellowship program director Compensation Salary range of $210,000 to $220,000 Competitive compensation models include generous wRVU productivity incentive with the opportunity to grow, uncapped

Requirements: A degree in Medicine or Osteopathy is required Board Eligible or Certification in Palliative Care and Hospice Medicine required Minimum 3 years of Graduate Medical Education experience required GME leadership is preferred Existing or Eligibility for New Jersey Medical License, DEA and CDS required
