Responsibilities: Patient Care: Provide skilled therapy services under the supervision of a Physical Therapist. Therapeutic Interventions: Implement treatment plans, including therapeutic exercises, gait training, and assistive device training.
Patient Education: Educate patients and families on techniques to improve functional skills and independence. Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress, treatment plans, and interventions. Collaboration: Work collaboratively with Physical Therapists, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Infection Control: Adhere to strict infection control guidelines to protect both patients and healthcare workers.
Requirements: Certification: Current and valid Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in the state of Florida.
Experience: Minimum of 6 months of experience hospital, skilled nursing facility, or rehab facility is required.
Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and critical thinking skills. Professionalism: Strong work ethic, reliability, and a commitment to providing quality care. Transportation: Reliable transportation to visit patients in their homes.

Compensation Range: $20.90 to $31.35 The anticipated base salary range represents the Company's good-faith estimate of the compensation it reasonably expects to pay for this position at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, skills, qualifications, geographic location, internal equity, and business needs.
