Schedule:
Part Time, One to Two Days per Week (In-Office)
TAG MedStaffing is hiring a Dermatologist in Monroe, NY for our client, providing outpatient evaluation and treatment for a broad range of dermatologic conditions. This role will perform comprehensive skin examinations, diagnose and manage acute and chronic skin conditions, provide preventive care and patient education, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to support positive patient outcomes. Responsibilities as the Dermatologist: Dermatologic Evaluation: Perform comprehensive skin examinations and evaluate patients for acute, chronic, and complex dermatologic conditions. Patient Treatment: Diagnose and treat common skin conditions, infections, and other dermatologic concerns using individualized care plans. Skin Cancer Screening: Evaluate suspicious lesions, perform skin cancer screenings, and coordinate appropriate treatment or referrals. Patient Management: Monitor treatment progress, provide follow-up care, and adjust treatment plans based on patient needs. Patient Education: Educate patients on skin health, preventive care, treatment options, and ongoing condition management. Clinical Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely medical records, treatment plans, and patient documentation. Qualifications for the Dermatologist:
Education:
MD or DO degree and completion of an accredited Dermatology residency program are required.
Licensure: Active and unrestricted New York State medical license is required.
Certification: Board certification or board eligibility in Dermatology is required.
Experience:
1+ years of dermatology experience is preferred, including experience evaluating and treating a broad range of skin conditions. Industry Knowledge: Experience providing culturally responsive care to diverse patient populations is required. Skills & Attributes: Strong clinical judgment, communication, cultural awareness, interpersonal skills, and commitment to patient-centered care are required.
