Account Executive Public SectorContent Guru is a leading global provider of enterprise cloud Customer Experience (CX) and contact centre solutions, and we are at the forefront of the Generative AI evolution.We're looking for a dynamic and strategic Account Executive Public Sector to join our US sales team and help expand our presence across government, public safety, and broader public sector markets. You'll take ownership of the full sales cycleidentifying, qualifying, and closing new opportunitieswhile building strong partnerships with public sector stakeholders and navigating government procurement processes.LocationThis role is remote, but you will be expected to visit our Reston, Virginia office as and when required. The role also includes regular travel to client sites, trade shows, and partner events.Key responsibilities of the roleStrategic Sales & Planning:Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targetsDevelop and execute strategic account plans within the public sectorIdentify, qualify, and progress opportunities through a structured sales processAccurately forecast pipeline activity and maintain CRM recordsCustomer Engagement:Build long-term relationships with key public sector decision-makers, influencers, and senior stakeholdersPresent compelling proposals and tailored solutions that align with public service prioritiesManage expectations during presales, procurement, delivery, and aftercarePromote additional services and identify opportunities for account expansionBid & Proposal Management:Lead and contribute to RFP responses and complex deal structures within government frameworksCoordinate internal stakeholders and virtual bid teams to deliver quality submissions on timeQualify opportunities and mitigate risks early in the public procurement processProduct & Market Expertise:Maintain a deep understanding of Content Guru's storm platform and its relevance to public sector needsStay informed of public sector procurement regulations, funding cycles, and compliance requirementsDeliver solution demonstrations and articulate the business value of our platform to public sector audiencesCollaborate with marketing and contribute thought leadership where appropriateAbout youBachelor's degree or equivalent professional experienceA minimum of 5 years' experience closing complex B2B deals, with at least 2 years in the US public sector marketStrong knowledge of government procurement processes and public sector contractingExperience selling to senior-level executives in public sector agenciesProven ability to meet and exceed revenue targetsSkilled in account planning, negotiation, and consultative sellingExperience with CRM tools and sales forecastingExcellent communication and presentation skillsDetail-oriented with a strong commercial mindsetExperience in SaaS, cloud, or IT services preferredNote: Due to the security-sensitive nature of our work in the US and in order to maintain our FedRAMP High certification, this role is restricted to US nationals only.About the CompanyContent Guru is the largest privately owned provider of Contact Centre as a Service (CCaaS) in Europe.
