Role: Senior Landscape Designer / Sales Professional We are seeking an experienced Senior Landscape Designer / Sales Professional to join a high-end landscape design/build team. This is a client-facing role that combines creative landscape design, consultative sales, and relationship development. The ideal candidate is someone who can take a project from the initial client conversation through design, proposal, and sale while building strong relationships with homeowners and industry partners.
Responsibilities: Meet with homeowners to understand their vision, needs, and budget Develop high-end landscape designs and concepts for residential outdoor spaces Design and sell projects ranging from approximately $20,000 to $750,000+Sell a variety of landscape and outdoor living projects, including: Outdoor living spaces Pool decks and pool surroundings Patios and walkways Retaining walls Hardscape and softscape Landscape lighting Plantings and gardens Prepare proposals, presentations, and project designs Manage the sales process from initial consultation through signed contract Generate business through existing relationships, referrals, and networking Develop relationships with complementary businesses, including pool companies, architects, builders, and other industry professionals Work closely with production and design teams to ensure projects are properly communicated and positioned for successful installation Achieve annual sales goals in the $1M–$2M+ range
Qualifications: Proven experience in landscape design and sales Strong design skills with the ability to independently develop compelling residential landscape concepts Proficiency with relevant landscape design software Experience selling high-end residential landscape or outdoor living projects Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills Ability to confidently sell and close projects Comfortable generating business through both warm leads and networking Strong understanding of landscape construction, hardscape, softscape, and outdoor living Self-motivated, creative, organized, and results-oriented Compensation & Benefits$90,000+ base salary plus commission, with total earning potential of approximately $140,000–$225,000+Commission structure tied to revenue generated
