YOU WILL BE JOININGEstablished, private equity-backed industrial services and equipment organization supporting customers across a diverse range of essential industries Provides a combination of specialized equipment, technical field services, maintenance, calibration, and technology-enabled solutions Growing national footprint built through a combination of organic growth and strategic acquisitions Serves customers with complex, mission-critical operations where accuracy, reliability, and responsiveness matter Business is in an exciting stage of transformation, investing in its people, systems, and infrastructure to support continued growth Entrepreneurial environment where leaders have the opportunity to make decisions, improve processes, and have a visible impact on the businessWHAT THEY OFFER YOUOpportunity to take real ownership of payroll and benefits during an important stage of growth and transformation Direct partnership with senior HR and Finance leadershipA recently implemented UKG environment with the foundation in place and meaningful opportunity to continue optimizing it Remote flexibility for someone in the Greater Charlotte market, with occasional in-person collaboration An environment where you will be trusted to assess what is working, solve problems, and help build processes that can scale with the businessWHERE THIS SITSGreater Charlotte, NCPrimarily remote with occasional in-person meetings Contract-to-hire opportunityWHAT YOU’LL BE DOINGTake ownership of a multi-state payroll and benefits function and quickly become the person the organization trusts to keep it moving Lead biweekly payroll while bringing structure, consistency, and confidence to the broader process Step into a recently implemented UKG environment, understand where things stand, and drive the remaining work across integrations, feeds, benefits, and payroll processes Partner closely with HR and Finance to troubleshoot issues, answer questions, and make sound decisions when there is not always a playbook Own benefits administration and play an important role in the upcoming open enrollment cycle Navigate payroll complexities including multi-state requirements, prevailing wage, and incentive compensation Identify what is working, what needs attention, and where processes can become smarter and more scalable. A BACKGROUND THAT FITSPayroll and benefits leadership experience with the ability to take true ownership of the function, not simply execute transactions Hands-on UKG experience and the ability to step into the system, understand the current environment, and determine what needs to happen next Experience managing multi-state payroll and navigating the complexities that come with supporting a geographically dispersed workforce Strong benefits administration experience, including involvement with open enrollment Experience with prevailing wage environments is highly valuable Comfortable stepping into an evolving environment where every process may not yet be perfectly documented Resourceful problem solver who knows how to investigate, find answers, and move issues through to resolution Able to operate at the manager level while still being willing to roll up your sleeves and get into the details Experience within a private equity-backed, acquisitive, or rapidly changing organization would translate especially well#LI-EP#remote
