About the role

- Working on commercial rooftops as well as solar carports and ground mounted systems
- Assistant in mechanical/structural mounting of racking, modules and electrical equipment
- Assembly of mounting hardware
- Following layout of solar modules given to you by management team
- Attend mandatory training sessions on new products, methodology and safety
- Ability to read plan sets and single line diagrams
- Interconnections and shutdowns/tie-ins
- Responsible for running projects from handoff to final inspection while meeting scheduled deadlines allotted by management
- Ability to make material lists, including but not limited to AC/DC equipment needed
- Responsible to communicate verbal and written communication in email
- Able to run projects from hand off to final inspection within scheduled time
- Must show efficient communication skills both verbally and in written form
- OSHA 30 Certification
- Experience in roofing or construction
- Experience leading a team/crew
- Working experience with conduit/bending conduit
- Experience working with batteries
- Strong understanding of NEC codes, especially with commercial PV installations
- Proficient in the installation of grid-tied and micro inverter applications
- Commercial Electrical Journeyman's LicenseNABCEP Certification
