ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Product Development Associate to join our Kitchen Department. This role supports our off-price retail partners —through efficient execution, strong communication, and precise follow-up.
Responsibilities include: Troubleshooting challenges with realistic and creative solutions Creating order templates for factories Saving and maintaining product images Meeting preparation Creating customer catalogs Market and trend research Building and organizing product library Assisting with the color and formulation of products Conduct market and trend research Support in the development and formulation of new products Work with internal cross-functional teams – art department, sales, production Analyze quote sheets Adhere to timelines Maintain and track samples Assist with style creation Perform other duties as assigned.
COMPETENCIES: Ability to work with a dynamic team and quickly pick up shorthand communication. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables required).Understanding of market dynamics and business judgment Excellent organizational and communication skills with a proactive, solution-oriented approach. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Keen attention to detail and an interest in fashion, product, and merchandising.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field, with wholesale imports or related experience; or an Associate’s degree with 4+ years’ experience in a production-related role preferred.
