We are seeking experienced Structural Steel Welder/Fabricators (FCAW) with welding experience to join our growing team. This is not a repetitive production welding role. You'll work on custom structural steel projects, operate heavy fabrication equipment, and build large steel assemblies that support major construction projects. Qualifications: Experience with Flux-Cored Arc Welding (FCAW) in structural or custom steel fabrication Ability to perform open root and fillet welds Experience with gauging, fitting, and grinding Ability to read and work from fabrication drawings preferred Successful completion of a weld test is required Entry-level welders are welcome to apply for 2nd shift. Starting pay range for entry-level candidates: $20-$25/hour, based on skills and experience.
Responsibilities: Set up and operate 600-amp wire-feed welders Perform FCAW welding on structural steel components Use cutting and heating torches Grinding, drilling, tapping, and sawing operations Operate ironworker equipment Material handling and shop support activities Operate overhead cranes and work with large fabricated assemblies Work from scaffolding as required Follow safety and quality standards
