Overview: Kaiser Permanente is seeking a Board Certified/ Board Eligible Urologist to join our Group in Riverside County, CA.Department Culture: The Kaiser Permanente Riverside Service Area offers a collaborative and dynamic environment in a community hospital system that serves the diverse Inland Empire and South County region. Our Urology department provides comprehensive care across Riverside, Moreno Valley, and Murrieta, fostering a stimulating and supportive atmosphere for professional growth through a variety of subspecialties. Department Size 10 Urologists2 General Urologic Surgeons1 Infertility Specialist1 General Urologist with an interest in Pediatric Urology2 Reconstruction and Female Specialists HighlightsGeneral Urologists are expected to see a broad range of cases Involves general Urologic procedures with access to robotic systems. Travel Time: On-call Urologists may need to travel between Riverside and Moreno Valley hospitals and to other clinic and surgery sites in Moreno Valley, Murrieta, and occasionally Ontario Vineyard ambulatory surgery. Call Schedule: Approximately 1 in every 10 nights and weekends, with compensation for callbacks and extended duties. Virtualist Coverage: Provides primary call Monday through Friday, 9 PM to 7 AM.Post-Call Duties: Hospital duty time in the afternoon after call nights, with no outpatient clinical responsibilities Operating Hours: Clinic hours generally start between 7 AM and 8:30 AM and end between 5 PM and 7 PM, with flexible scheduling options based on staffing availability. Teaching Opportunities: Optional teaching opportunities with Family Medicine residents. Also, opportunities available with Kaiser Permanente Medical School and University of California Riverside Medical School, typically involving an application process.
Qualifications:
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible
  • Proficiency in general Urologic surgery, including endoscopic, open, and basic laparoscopic procedures.
  • Experience with robotic surgery (though not mandatory).Salary Range
$465,175.00 to $572,799.00 Salary range includes incentives that are contingent upon skills, competencies, and geographic location. The earnings included in the salary range are contingent upon requisite Board Certification. Annual Salary is determined by longevity with the Group and full time equivalent (FTE) work schedule/effort.
