About the role
Detail-oriented and experienced, the full-time South Carolina Licensed Settlement Officer will manage the creation and distribution of settlement statements, verify wire instructions, and coordinate funding packages while working remotely.
Key responsibilities:
Create and send settlement statements for sales or financing, incorporating necessary details and managing correspondence throughout the transaction
Verify wire instructions and prepare funding packages for the accounting team, ensuring all documents are accurately created and saved
Send confirmations of initiated wires to relevant parties and handle any post-closing financial transactions as needed Required qualifications 10+ years of experience in a commercial settlement role or similar
Strong knowledge of Title Insurance
Familiarity with Soft Pro Select is a plus
Outstanding work ethic with the ability to work in both team-oriented and self-directed environments
High level of accountability and customer service orientation
