About the role
IMPORTANT:
CONTINGENT UPON CONTRACT AWARDThis position is contingent upon The C.A.S.E. Engineering Group, LLC receiving the associated Federal contract award. The position is not confirmed until the contract is awarded. The anticipated start date is Q1 2027. Selected candidates will be asked to sign a Letter of Intent (LOI) before the position is confirmed. Signing an LOI does not require the candidate to resign from their current employment. Employment with C.A.S.E. will begin only if the contract is awarded. Candidates will be provided additional information about the customer and program during the interview process under a mutual nondisclosure agreement (NDA).
Minimum Qualifications: (Required)
Education & Experience:
Bachelor of Science in Computer Science (or equivalent experience) with 10+ years of database administration and architecture experience using Microsoft SQL Server. Alternative: 12+ years of SQL Server DBA/Architecture experience if you do not hold a BS degree.
Core Technical Skills:
Demonstrated experience implementing database schemas within SQL Server.
Hands-on experience performing large-scale data migration and Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) work.
Clearance & Eligibility:
- Must be a U.S. worker (U.S. Work Authorization required).Must be eligible for a favorable Tier 1 or Tier 2 Public Trust background investigation and able to obtain/maintain government facility and network access credentials.
- Location & Availability:
- Must reside in the National Capital Region (NCR) and be available to attend client meetings in the Washington, DC area on short notice.
- Willingness to participate in occasional after-hours and weekend support for critical incidents and scheduled deployments.
Preferred Qualifications:
- (Highly Desired)
- Experience with OpenText databases (e.g., Content Suite, Extended ECM, Process Suite/AppWorks, Archive Center).Experience with Business Objects (BOXi) or comparable enterprise reporting platforms and OpenText Web Reports.
- Experience supporting database systems operating under an active Risk Management Framework (RMF) / Authority to Operate (ATO).Experience planning and executing High Availability (HA), failover, and Continuity of Operations (COOP) testing.
