Job Description: North Carolina-based specialty contracting firm is looking for experienced construction workers for installation projects across the entire United States. While not mandatory, the ideal candidate will have previous experience installing engineered fall protection systems including horizontal lifelines, rooftop fall protection, rigid rail systems and netting systems. Candidates with experience working at height or possessing. We are looking for skilled tradespeople with the potential to assume or grow into a leadership role.
Duties will include: Reading construction drawings/plans Organizing work tasks Working at elevation from a man-lift Performing rooftop installations Climbing ladders and steel structure safely using PPEOperating man-lifts and forklifts Operating small power tools and hand tools Hand assembly of components Coordinating with clients, other contractors and fellow workers Candidates should be: Comfortable wearing PPE including hard hat, work boots, safety glasses, harness and lanyard Physically fit and capable of performing manual labor Able to effectively communicate verbally and in writing with both client and office staff Forklift experience Aerial Lift experience Able to pass OSHA 10 Hour and/or OSHA 30 Hour Construction Training. Proficient in the use of technology including Microsoft Word, Excel and e-mail Other: 3-5 years construction experience Pre-employment and random drug screens and background checks required Good driving record Travel will be required for approximately 80%. Travel duration may last from several days to up to three weeks away
