This role is responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding market share, and building strong customer relationships, leveraging a deep understanding of the financial services industry and sales best practices.Job ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed regional sales targets for Temenos' Line of Business (LOB) products.Lead, mentor, and motivate a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.Conduct thorough customer and market analysis to identify new business opportunities, market trends, and competitive landscapes.Initiate and close compelling sales conversations with key decision-makers, effectively managing buyer indifference and demonstrating the value proposition of Temenos solutions.Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers, understanding their needs and ensuring customer satisfaction through a customer-focused approach.Master the direct selling process, from prospecting and lead generation to contract negotiation and deal closure.Possess in-depth knowledge of buying influences within the financial services sector and understand the complete buying process.Utilize sales systems and tools effectively for pipeline management, forecasting, and reporting.Implement change management strategies to adapt to evolving market conditions and internal organizational changes.Regularly review sales performance, prepare comprehensive reports and present findings to senior management, identifying areas for improvement and opportunities for growth.Demonstrate strong commercial acumen in all sales activities, ensuring profitability and sustainable growth.Plan and organize sales activities efficiently, prioritizing tasks and managing resources effectively to maximize results.Job QualificationsProven experience as a Regional Sales Director or similar senior sales leadership role within the LATAM financial services technology sector.Demonstrable expertise in building rapport with diverse stakeholders at all levels.Strong track record in direct selling and consistently exceeding sales targets.In-depth understanding of financial services Line of Business (LOB) products and the competitive landscape.Exceptional commercial acumen with the ability to identify and capitalize on market opportunities.Proficiency in sales planning, organizing, and performance review and reporting.Skilled in prospecting, initiating compelling sales conversations, and managing buyer indifference.Thorough knowledge of buying influences and the buying process within complex organizations.Experience with sales systems and tools for CRM, pipeline management, and forecasting.A customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional client experiences.Ability to drive and adapt to change management initiatives effectively.Fluent in English and Spanish, Portuguese is a significant advantage.Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field; an MBA is a plus.SOME OF OUR BENEFITS IncludeMaternity leave: Transition back with 3 days per week in the first month and 4 days per week in the second monthCivil Partnership: 1 week of paid leave if you're getting married.
