Childcare Provider - Catholic Daycare Join our dedicated team at a welcoming Catholic daycare, where we nurture young minds and hearts in a caring, faith-based environment. We are seeking compassionate and responsible childcare professionals who are committed to fostering a safe, engaging, and spiritually enriching atmosphere for children.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and ensure the safety and well-being of children in a daycare setting
  • Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development
  • Foster a positive, inclusive environment aligned with Catholic values and teachings
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children's progress and daily activities
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment in compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Support children's individual needs and encourage respectful interactions among peers
  • Assist with meal times, nap times, and other daily routines
Skills and Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED acceptable to Texas Education Agency. Prior experience working with young children in a daycare or preschool setting preferred. Knowledge of child development principles and age-appropriate activities. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively with a team and build positive relationships with children and families. Respect for and understanding of Catholic values and teachings. Certification in CPR and First Aid required or willingness to obtain. Reliable, patient, and nurturing demeanor. Additional childcare certifications are a plus. Must maintain compliance with the Diocese of Austin Ethics and Integrity in Ministry (EIM) policies throughout the employment period.
Working Conditions: All employees of the Parish are engaged in ministry and closely tied to the Pastor in the exercise of his ministry and obligations to the church. The Parish is an at-will employer. Working in a fast-paced environment with priorities and plans that may change rapidly. Working on weekends, evenings, and some holidays may be required. Will be exposed to religious ceremonies, conduct, and speech, including Roman Catholic Christian prayer and liturgical celebrations.
