What You’ll Do:
As an Assistant Teacher, you’ll help create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where children can learn, play, and grow.
Your day‑to‑day responsibilities will include:
Assist with daily classroom activities and lesson plans
Support the Lead Teacher with engaging, age‑appropriate learning experiences
Help maintain a safe, clean, structured, and positive classroom environment
Build positive relationships with children, families, and fellow teachers
Communicate professionally with parents, children, and team members
Support children’s social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development
Provide patience, encouragement, and empathy when responding to children’s needs
Help establish and reinforce age‑appropriate classroom expectations
Assist with documenting children’s development and progress
Use classroom technology as needed to support documentation and communication
Participate in classroom activities, special events, and school programs
Bring creativity, energy, and enthusiasm to the classroom every day
Learn from experienced educators and continue developing your teaching skills
Work toward growing into a Lead Teacher role
What We’re Looking For:
We’re looking for someone who ispositive, dependable, patient, and passionate about working with children.
Minimum Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED
Ability to meet applicable state childcare licensing requirements
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a teaching team
Ability to build positive relationships with children, families, and coworkers
Flexible and adaptable in a fast‑paced classroom environment
Willingness to learn and grow professionally
Genuine interest inearly childhood education and child development
Previous childcare, preschool, daycare, babysitting, teaching, camp, or youth‑program experience is a plus!

Compensation$15.03–$16.36 per hour
Final compensation will be based on experience, skills, qualifications, geographic location, and internal equity. This position may also be eligible for performance-based incentives or other applicable benefits.
